Keemun

One of China's most celebrated black teas, produced in Anhui Province using the congou method — a labor-intensive process requiring exceptional skill to craft fine, unbroken leaves. The result is a bright, reddish cup with a complex, wine-like character and hints of fruit. Takes milk well, but holds its own without it.

First produced in 1875, Keemun was an outlier in a country known for green tea — and it won the world over anyway. It has been a favorite of our customers for decades.
