Dark Espresso

Back when Seattle’s coffee scene first took shape, dark roasts defined the style. Our Dark Espresso continues that tradition.

This blend is composed of three dark-roasted coffees and has been a staple at our shop for decades. This is a traditionally dark-roasted espresso. The beans carry a visible surface oil and a pronounced roast profile that reflects the style popular in Seattle’s early coffee years.

Many of our longtime customers prefer this approach, but it is darker and more fully developed than most contemporary coffees.

Despite its name, it performs well not only as espresso but in nearly any brewing method.
